SPARKLE

“Awww! Let me the fuck out of here!”

I was in a room strapped to a damn bed over some bullshit.

“Sparkle you are going to have to calm down if you want to be released from the restraints.”

“Lady, fuck you!” I snapped.

She looked at me like I had hurt her feelings.

“Really Sparkle you gone talk to your mother like that?”

I looked at her and blinked and then blinked again.

Sure in hell was my mama sitting in a chair next to my bed.

“Sorry mama I didn’t realize that was you,” I admitted.

She nodded but didn’t speak.

“How long will I be here?”

“I don’t know you’ve been acting a damn fool since they put yo ass in here.”

I tried to calm down but it was hard being unable to move like I wanted to.

“Well how long will I have to keep these things on my wrist?”

“Hell I don’t know, if yo ass would take your damn meds and stopping acting crazy as fuck you wouldn’t have them on at all,” she ranted.

“I’m sorry, but mama I want to go home,” I whined.

“You can’t, but you can tell me what the hell you did to get in here.”

“Nothing,” I shrugged.

“Don’t lie to me little girl. I will have them commit yo ass,” she threatened.

“Mama they can’t prove that I did anything so again I did nothing,” I snapped.

She nodded her understanding.

One thing I did know is that I wasn’t going to tell on my damn self. I just hopped Sky didn’t say anything.

“Ok Sparkle, I’m leaving but I will be back tomorrow to check on you after I get off work.”

“What you mean before you go to work?” I damn near yelled.

“Sparkle yo ass is in here until they say you can come home I’m not about to miss any money because you decided to be dumb behind a nigga that don’t want yo ass. You concerned about the wrong shit!” she yelled getting my face.

I was mad as fuck because I had to lay there and take what she was dishing out, not that it would be any different if I wasn’t in here.

“Now like I said I will be by here when I get off from work. Stop acting so fucking crazy and take the damn medicine that they give you and then maybe you can come home, if not I will have yo ass committed until you have the baby.”

“For real ma?”

I was shocked for real.

“You damn right, but I still love you,” she said kissing my cheek.

I was beginning to think she was the crazy one.

I laid there and thought about all the stuff that was happening and why.

The answer kept pointing back to that man stealer Breanna.

“How am I going to get rid of her?” I whispered.

“You are going to have to get out of here first,” a voice said.

“Yep you right,” I answered.

I was laying there looking calm cool and collected on the outside, but on the inside I was plotting to take that bitch out the game.

I was lying there so long I didn’t realize I had fallen asleep.
